POWER RANKINGS

TWLWTeam
11Toronto ShamrocksToronto has displayed the best defensive effort of all the teams in the WSHL this past week. With three big victories against the Eastern Conferences top three teams, the Halifax Reapers, Moscow Red Czars and Winnipeg Bombers.
22Las Vegas RoadrunnersLas Vegas is easily the most consistent team night in and night out, despite giving up some weak goals in the last few games that hasn't stopped them from going 3-1 in their last 4 games.
33Airdrie StormThe Airdrie Storm are 4-0 this past week, including a big 7-3 win over the Norrkoping HC. Airdrie set a record this season for the most goals scored in one game with seven. Airdrie has allowed only seven goals in the past four games.
44New Jersey Ice KillersIt is rare to see a team so good defensively on a consistent basis. With one of the leagues best goals against average just 2.1 per game. New Jersey has set the standard for what it takes to build a strong team and take them in a deep post season run.
55Winnipeg BombersWinnipeg has to be the most under rated teams in the league, at the beginning of the season they were no to be seen, but they have climbed the standings this time around. Second in the Eastern Conference they went 2-2 this week, but despite the .500 record, they have been really competitive in each of their games this week.
66Norrkoping HCThis pick may surprise a lot of people but despite going 0-2-2 in the their last four games. Norrkoping has been a shut down defensive team despite the 7-3 blowout loss. It remains to be seen if the scoring troubles for Norrkoping can be solved as they are the leagues lowest ranked offensive team.
77Prince George Pride Prince George is on a roll and are heading into this weeks power rankings in the bottom six teams but by a slim margin. They have been solid in each of the games they lost. It has been exciting to watch their games over this past week, with every game being able to go either way this team seems to be close to taking that next step.
88Denver Wolves Prince George is on a roll and are heading into this weeks power rankings in the bottom six teams but by a slim margin. They have been solid in each of the games they lost. It has been exciting to watch their games over this past week, with every game being able to go either way this team seems to be close to taking that next step.
99Vancouver Rampage It is really weird to have such a team so dominant early on finish so low in the standings but something has to be said about this club that has continued its scoring troubles.
1010Halifax ReapersAnother weird placement among one of the leagues top teams in Halifax. Things have not been going their way the first three games. Only managing to score three goals but were involved in some close games.
1111Kelowna WildfireDespite finishing in 11th spot the Wildfire have played relatively well over the last week and it has been difficult to pick the order among teams. Kelowna had had two solid victories against New Jersey and Denver.
1212Moscow Red CzarsWhile sitting at the top of the Eastern Conference this team has taken some big losses this week, now on a three game losing streak this struggling team is looking for answers.
